this is something I'm working on for my new project. It's a simple model to test nc-hardware and -software for a motion control rig. Very excited!

Hey there folks...

I'm currently working on really low-low-low budget sound effects and foley -- opening/closing a drawer, slapping a pillow and the good 'ol toiletflush-trick...if you know what I mean!

Still a couple of things to sort out...but it'll happen. Stay tuned.

quite some timed has passed...for me to figure out, I'm not good at trailer-editing. Bummer...BUT: the consequence is that I'm now trying to finish up the project as a whole. I.e. I'll deliver any time soon and of course will let you know! -Cheers

Oh, oh...it's been a while I know.

Finally, hers's an update on guidelinefilms "Voice In Me": The first trailer will be ready to go within the next 10 days.
I'm currently sorting out a couple of sound and editing problems...but I'll get it done!

The trailer will be roughly two minutes long and it will contain parts of the finished fim that haven't already been seen in the previous two teasers, that I guarantee!

So please be patient a couple of more days...I'll post it as usual here and of course also on www.amateurfilm-forum.de

Well, well....

here we go again. This is the 2nd Teaser-Trailer of "Voice In Me". It's ready and it's somewhat different from the first one. But you'll learn that this one -as well- says that in the end it's gonna be a bitter day in the life of Vincent.

Marker...take two

As the story of "Voice In Me" has mainly two different sides to it, I've decided to come up with an additional concoction of a TEASER-trailer.

This one appearing out of thin air, in say a few days, will show the lighter and brighter sides and aspects of Vincent's daydream (oops...have I already said too much there?)

But hey: Don't be fooled guys ;)

Yup....

I did it -- It's ready. I put together the first 35 sec TEASER of guidelinefilm's "Voice In Me" (wt).

As the first teaser-trailer of "Voice In Me" (wt) is on the horizon I would like to present some more still photograhps from the -almost- finished film.

These pictures show scenes of the transition from the second to the third act. Vincent, the main character, has to undergo quite some torture in the wilderness -- He's right into the action, my friends :) Also, these photos show the rare occasions we were shooting during daytime...

The current status of the project is: 95 % finished. The two min. trailer is almost ready. The teaser WILL be online sometime next week. Sunday at the latest!

Info: These are from the few scenes we shot during actual daytime. One photo shows an early stage of a model we used. Turned out quite well, despite its obvious simplicity!

Snippets from the cut material

This is it: These are stills from the cut material of my newest project: "Voice in me" (w.t.)

Plot summary:

16 yo Vincent is home alone with his sister in their parents house. It's the night of the "Great Storm". While both are sound asleep a burglar creeps through the house. As Vincent suddenly wakes up because of a lightning striking nearby, he loses orientation. From his paralysed state he believes to have noticed some commotion downstairs. He is certain he was awakened not by the storm but by something else. Because of the power breakdown in the house he picks up a flashlight and begins to search. What Vincent doesn't realize: His blackout lasted way longer then only a split second.

The following day meets Vincent with unpleasant events and leads to a horrifying awareness. Is he awake...or still dreaming? What did really happen, back in that night? How can he work this out and get his old life back? ..

A VOICE in his head, that follows him throughout, whispers bitter nothings and leads him all the way back to the night of the "Great Storm" ....

A short story that came to me while I was walking home from school.

A hiking girl finds a rope frozen to the ground and starts to wonder where it might lead.

She ventures deeper and deeper into the dark forest...

Info: This came to life in the winter of 2006. It was shot in 3 days. 2 weeks post. It's a simple piece but it paved the road for much more to come...Make sure to check out the link-box!
