Motion Control: Step 2:

Hi y'all...

This is the base of the motion control rig, I intend to build.
It's a very lightweight linear track with belt drive. It is capable of speeds up to 3 m/s and can work at a repeat accuracy of about 0,3 mm. The maximum traverse way is 2000 mm.
So that ought to do. It's gonna be axis one. Two and three will be pan and focus-pull.

So...I'll let you know how this crazy thing evolves and turns out.

the new film

These are two pages from a set of shotlists I made already a couple of years ago.
Back then I already had sketched out three critical elements of the story. One of which was and will be a very physical stunt involving a car and a person.

Motion Control -- step 1

This has a pivotal meaning in guidelinefilm's new project: The Motion Control - system.

In the upcoming posts I will show the progress on the building of the mo-co rig. Also there will frequently be new stuff about the new story and its developement.
